This depends on the size of the business, the service and/or products you provide. And your commitment to achieve certification. 

As each of our Management Systems is unique and an individually tailored system, it is based on the complexity of your organisation and on whether it is a single Management Systems, multiple Management Systems or an integrated management system e.g., Quality, Safety and Environmental.

The process is very simple and hassle free. After an initial business review and a gap analysis, we will require you to provide us all the documentation that you may have to support our development of your unique Management Systems. We call our systems the Business Framework for Excellence. If you don’t have any documentation, we will develop the documentation necessary to achieve the intent of the management systems without any unnecessary documents and/or lengthy procedure. We pride ourselves in providing a pragmatic and user-friendly Management Systems, with minimum disruption to your business.

Your Management Systems will be developed around your existing processes and will be tailored and complemented with what is require by the standard, but also to meet your needs and expectations. We have seen thousands of Management Systems with excessive/unnecessary documentation which make these Management Systems difficult to handle. If during the implementation of the process, changes needs to be implemented, these changes  will be beneficial to your organisation and will aim to streamline your existing operating systems.

The Management System will be sent to you electronically and presented to you via Zoom and/or through a training session/introduction to the systems.

Generally, after the initial business review and gap analysis, Valet Management Systems will proceed to compile your Management Systems, and will require minimum input from your end. This depends on your organisation size and complexity, however the time required with you will be spread over the development of the system and when practicable via Zoom meetings.

To maintain your certification, you need to conduct internal audits on a regular basis and continually improve the management systems by implementing innovation and corrective action following these internal audits. Valet Management Systems will conduct the initial internal audits; however, our systems are designed to be easily maintain by our clients. We create systems for our clients to take ownership, however, we can also assist you on ongoing basis if you wish.

The certification process is something conducted independently by an independent certification body. Valet Management Systems has a strong relationship with several certification bodies and can arrange quotation. Note the process for certification is totally separate from us, to preserve impartiality and/or any conflict of interest.

The certification process includes two stages/steps. 

Once the Management Systems documentation is ready, we can plan with the body certification to proceed with Stage 1 Audit. This is a documentation review to ensure readiness for Stage 2 audit, which is the certification audit. Generally, we recommend proceeding to Stage 2  after at least one month of implementation of the Management Systems between Stage 1 and Stage 2 , however this depends on the size of your organisation and the complexity of your systems, e.g., a plumbing company will require less time, than a technology organisation. At the end of the Stage 2  the external auditor gives recommendation for certification and the certificate is issued by the body certification after their independent review of the audit process. 

The certification cycle is a three-year period subject to annual review. Every year you will be audited to ensure the systems is maintained and improves, and every three years a recertification audit is conducted to reissue a new certificate. This is a requirement of JAS/ANZ (Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand) which is the regulator for any accredited body certification.
